Alegra’s University Fair: A Milestone Event for Students and Families

This past Saturday, Alegra School proudly hosted the first edition of its University Fair, an initiative designed to support students and their families in navigating one of the most pivotal decisions of their lives: selecting their academic and professional paths. The event brought together representatives from top public and private universities, alumni, and education professionals from our school to offer guidance, share insights, and inspire confidence in this important journey.

A Space for Connection 

The University Fair was conceived as a response to the growing need for clarity and guidance in academic decision-making. Alegra aimed to create a space where families could connect directly with university representatives, hear from alumni, and participate in sessions that explored topics like:

• Admission processes for Spanish public and private universities, and international institutions.
• Skills and traits universities are seeking in prospective students.
• Tips for aligning personal interests, talents, and career aspirations with academic choices.

Alegra’s goal was to provide students and families with not just information, but also the tools and confidence to make decisions that resonate with their future ambitions. At Alegra, we believe in accompanying our students every step of the way, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and inspired.

Alegra’s University Fair Programme 

The fair featured stands from prestigious institutions including Universidad Villanueva, Universidad CEU San Pablo, University of Navarra, IEB, CUNEF Universidad, Universidad Pontificia Comillas, IE University, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, U-tad, and Swiss Education Group. Attendees had the chance to explore various academic programs, ask questions, and receive personalized advice. Highlights included:

• Master Lectures: Focused on understanding academic options and navigating the transition from school to university.
• Alumni Stories: Former Alegra students shared their experiences, challenges, and tips for success in higher education.
• Career Guidance: Sessions on how to match academic programs with individual strengths and aspirations.

As one student participant noted, “I am very grateful for the Alegra University Fair, it has helped me in taking this important step I was so afraid of, and to be able to visualise my options.”
