Family Pilgrimage: Alegra in Fatima
After two years of hiatus due to Covid, we resumed the family pilgrimages. From 29 April to 1 May, Alegra families made the traditional pilgrimage to Our Lady of Fatima.
It is a trip aimed especially at families whose daughters are making their First Communion as well as families who, due to the Covid situation, saw the two previous editions cancelled. A group of about 90 people, including couples and children, spent the weekend accompanying the Virgin.
With the little shepherds
With the little shepherd”On Sunday after Mass, we went to see the house of the little shepherds, and we were lucky enough to spend a long time chatting with Jacinta Marto, niece of Francisco and Jacinta.
Her father was the older brother of the little shepherds and told us many things about the children. He was with them at one of the apparitions, and he always said that he did not see Our Lady, but he did hear a special sound that he always remembered. He told us many anecdotes about his uncles and aunts and also told us in detail how his father saw the miracle of the sun in the last apparition”.
Story shared by Antonio, father of Mª Cristina, Mª del Pilar and Mª Elena, pupils of Alegra.
