Science in Year 5

Year 5 students were learning in their Science lesson, about the Changes of Materials. They experimented with dissolvable materials and recovering substances.

Does it dissolve? Is it hot or cold? What is the consistency of the materials? Why is it called a solution once the material dissolves?
