Educational Excellence: Alegra and the International Baccalaureate Evaluation Visit 2024

Alegra has successfully undergone the International Baccalaureate (IB) evaluation visit. This milestone represents a significant achievement for our educational community and reflects Alegra’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence and compliance with international quality standards.

What does the IB evaluation visit entail for educational excellence? 

The evaluation visit is a crucial process carried out every five years in all IB schools worldwide to ensure that IB policies, standards, and requirements are rigorously met. In Alegra’s case, this evaluation was more than just a review; it was a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teaching, administrative, and student staff.

During the visit, Alegra’s strengths in implementing IB programmes, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) in secondary, and the Diploma Programme (DP) in Baccaulorate were highlighted.

Following the inspection, the evaluation committee sent a feedback report as a result of their observation and analysis of the educational programme, future development plan, and the implementation of MYP and DP in Alegra. The aim of evaluation visits is to provide all schools with a secure compass for continuous improvement and maintenance of the standards expected of an international school.

This tool is one of the ways IB ensures an educational experience where students are always at the centre of their own learning. This visit has been a success for Alegra and is nothing more than a testimony to the educational commitment of the school to academic excellence.
