In addition to language learning, at Alegra we promote a global perspective where respect, knowledge of other cultures and openness to the problems of the world are present in learning. In all subjects, we encourage understanding from other points of view, responsibility and empathy for our environment and the world.
At Alegra, students are encouraged. They are able to take responsibility for their own learning and are exposed to a wide range of try different approaches.
We help our students to ask challenging questions, to think critically and to develop research skills which are proven to help them in higher education. We encourage our students to be active in their communities and to take their learning beyond academic study.
At Alegra, we go to great lengths to deliver subjects with a cross-curricular approach;working in a project based way, integrating different subjects to widen the scope of the ground knowledge and to stimulate that students acquire reasoning and resolving skils.
Beginning in the Prep School, our students are accustomed to working collaboratively. This is further enhanced in Secondary with opportunities for dynamic teamwork and the use of cutting-edge facilities and technology.
At Alegra, we go from strength to strength to provide project-based learning opportunities with a cross-curricular approach.
